Apple Orchard

We went to an apple orchard with our good friends, Jen and Sophie, on Saturday. Sophie is 11 months younger than Sophia and Jen is expecting again in March. I hope they have another girl so Lucy will have a friend when we all hang out.

She Did It!!!

Sophia went to Sunday School by herself on Sunday. I am not sure what story they read, but she made visors for herself and Lucy. When I went to pick her up the teachers asked me how baby sister was doing. Sophia told the class that she is a big sister and that she had to come to school to see what it is like because someday when Lucy gets big, Big Sister can tell her all about school and then Lucy will not cry when she has to go! Adam and I are so proud of Sophia!

• Lucy is now eating every 3 hours and eats 3 ounces each time. Her alert time is getting to be more and more each day. She still is sleeping during the nights, unless it is time for her to eat. She loves when Sophia talks to her and loves when her mommy and daddy talk to her. Both Adam and I think that she will have blue eyes.
  
  
  

Sophia did not like being at Sunday School alone. Adam was with her for the first 35 minutes (but he was not the only parent in the class). Lucy and I went to church and the entire time I kept looking back at the doors to see if Adam was coming. During Communion we discovered that the family behind us was doing the same thing as me and waiting for the mommy to come to church. Come to find out their little girl was in Sophia class. Their teacher is going to have her hands full this year. Sophia is holding her art project and Lucy and I are wearing some of the pieces.



I do not know if you all can tell in the above picture how long Sophia's hair was but on Saturday I decided it was time for a new hair style. I did it myself! Sophia really likes it and I think it fits her personality! Plus it will be easier for Adam to do it on the days that I work.

Its about time!

Thanks to Adam's Uncle Rick I have decided that it was time to get a family blog started to keep everyone up to date with Adam and his girls!

Lucy will be 4 weeks on Tuesday! She is a very easy baby! Sophia probably was too, but being new parents at the time, we had no idea what we were doing. Thanks Sophia for training us in!

Sophia starts Sunday School tomorrow! We had her orientation today and I had to hold back tears a few times! I am so excited for her to learn more about Jesus and how much He loves her! She was not that excited about Sunday School so hopefully tomorrow goes well.

I am just learning how to be a blogger so give me time with posting pictures. Lucy is going to wake up soon and Sophia is getting hungry so I better get my girls fed so they stay happy!
